We are, now standing at sixty ninth independence day. In this some night on 1947 we gained our valuable and precious freedom from brutal hands of british imperialism. As we know, we not attained it suddenly in a morning. But there are difficulties in its background.

If we turn our eyes to the splendid history of the independence, we will not be able to see the role of muslims in freedom fight owing to the partial mind of historians . in fact, muslims have crucial and irrefutable role. Muslim leaders like Sayyid Alavi Thangal, Kunhali Marakkar,Umer Qali,Tippu Sulthan and so on. If is well known that the colonial of domination had been begun by the debut of Vasgod Gama. Consequently the oppositions and resistances against it is started. From there, resistances from the muslim sailors of Samoodhiri, not alloawed the portugese to dominate Kerala for one centuary.

They fought having with strong belief and spiritual relief not with air rifles or missiles. Their mobilization was unity and they countered the catridges and bullets of british with emergetic and enthusiastic strength. When more peoples were martyred, it not forced them to with draw but to carry on their steps forward.

At last their paces not be of no avail but it become valuable. Inspite of that, muslims fight spirit is being distorted and forgotten by the pen of others. This question may stick in your mind. Why are muslims forgotten in freedom fight. Yes there is no doubt, it is because of the partial mind of some others. It’s a great point that where hindus and muslims be united, the soul of india will be there. Through this policy india’s three color flag still flies in the blue sky with peace and ease.

It will not be an exaggeration, if I say ther muslims took active part and put up with the bad circumstances than others. So that, they are over pride, we must not lag behind any one.

Nowadays there cause so many issues against Muslims and regional rituals of Islam. In the world and also it continue in our Kerala. From every nook and cranny of the world the enemies of Islam they continuously aiming with sharp arrows towards the Islam to break us.

In the contemporary decade the critics of Islam they argue, if anywhere occurred like a bomb blast. And also if a bearded man included in it, they said surely it is from the Muslim terrorists. Through these they exploit the symbols and ritual of Islam.

In our country ‘India’, Islam is the second religion in here and here also Muslims faces so many issues. Especially after the ascent of Mr. Narendra Modi to throne of the Indian government. Recently we here in media about the injustice to Yakub Memon who hanged one of these days for terrorism.

The injustice statement of our court for the execution of Mr. Yakub Memon in July last. It intends that this government throw the freedom and rights of Muslims as waste. And the new statement of Supreme Court that the court refused to entertain a plea of a Islamic organization that Muslims girls applicants be allowed to wear scarf (hijab) in the all India pre medical entrance test.

In our state ‘Kerala’. Nowadays we heard the controversy about the traditional lamp. That our educational minister Mr. P K Abdul Rabb who refused to light the lamp on stage while inaugurating a function which conducted in memory of P N Panickar. And he said it is a religion ritual of the Hindus. And Muslims don’t have to do that as it wasn’t a part of his religious view. This dead of our minister make so many issues in this god’s own country. He just mentioned about his religion and its views. But the society makes that a mammoth issue. These all point out the disgracing of legal system of Islam and personality of Muslim.
